Natural Pregnancy After 5 Years TTC – Elissa’s Story

For me, my breakthrough came after over 4.5 years of unsuccessfully #1. my life was extremely blessed in my school, my work, family life and in my relationship with God. I was no longer angry with him and I had come to accept that for whatever reason, I was not yet a mother… but my husband and I still badly wanted a child. it was a breakthrough for me to realize I didn’t feel like I deserved a baby because my life was so good! i still had doubts about my body being capable of conceiving despite the quietly affirming messages i was absorbing every day through my circle+bloom relaxation program. when I stopped telling myself the misbelief that i didn’t deserve the gift of a child and started to trust that God was in control and had given me a body that did just what it needed to do, I felt so much more at peace. it was wonderfully freeing to quit worrying about the perfect fertility diet, supplements, etc. as I’d been doing for months and months. it felt great to just LIVE and enjoy being the woman I’d been created to be.

a month later, after almost 5 years of ttc, I was surprised to conceive naturally! we were overjoyed when our son was born in July of the next year. my life before, during and after my pregnancy has been blessed by so many wonderful resources like c+b !
