I been meaning to write for ages but just haven’t had time. I have used your programs to survive the last three of two years of ivf.
The meditations made the injections easier to cope with because I linked them to helpful instead of painful. I also use the sleep meditation to help with those sleepless worry nights. Joanne’s voice and techniques make me relax fairly quickly. On our last round of ivf the doctor would do, I was given steroids for three months, growth hormones and a whole plethora of injections as I had been diagnosed with endometriosis halfway through the ivf journey and even though it wasn’t near the ovaries the dr believed it had ruined the quality of my eggs which is why it wasn’t working or ending in miscarriage. The meditations helped me cope with this. As did the beautiful emails I received from Joanne and Amy.
Well after thinking parenthood would not be for us – our last cycle worked, I went in so relaxed after the meditation. I then used the pregnancy meditation which was great to help relax and visualize what was happening especially because I was worried something would happen again. And finally I used the happy birth program which also helped calm my nerves and fears of giving birth into positive thoughts. We now have a beautiful two-week-old boy.
I am still using the sleep program to help turn off my thoughts. So I wanted to say I am eternally grateful for accidentally finding your website all those meditations ago. They have helped through some tough times and amazing times. Thank you for all the work and thought that has been put into your website and programs as well as how easy it is to contact you via email (especially because I live in Australia).
I have shared my experiences and use of this program with everyone who asks me about ivf, especially those going through it – hopefully they have found it just as useful.
